Med Staffers Plus medical personnel are thoroughly screened and tested, and comply fully with JCAHO and OSHA regulation and training program requirements. Internal auditing of our personnel includes:

License verification: All certifications licenses are verified.

Testing: All applicants are tested for skills specific to their areas of expertise where possible.

Fire, Safety, Infection Control: A yearly review of fire, safety, infection control and OSHA standards is required.


Health/TB test: A physician’s statement is required, signifying that the applicant has had a satisfactory medical examination, including TB or chest x-ray within the past year. Rubella or other specific requirements are handled on an individual basis.

Application: An extensive application is completed and verified.

Employee Files: We keep complete and current files on all employees including application, license/certificaton and CPR certification, test results, references, physician’s statement, medical history, any continuing education courses completed, and all W-4s and W-9s.
Evaluation: Every Med Staffers Plus employee is evaluated after completing five shifts in the same institution, and at six-month intervals thereafter. Our director consults with the supervisory staff of the facility to complete all evaluations.
